OK, so....one more go at it?
Remember when i wrote that i had given up on the Oat Couture cardigan? Wellllllll, i am back at it again. The Feb Lady Sweater was just not working out. I realized i made a big goof somewhere, but i have NO clue where. I had about a million extra stitches on the needles, and the pattern was getting all wonky. Then i tried it on, and did NOT like the way the neckline looked on my broadish shoulders. So....rip. I was pretty down on knitting for a few hours there. And then i remembered that i had NOT ripped out most of the Celtic Cardigan. I picked it up, did my best to pick up the live stitches at the top, and started on it again. I am PRETTY sure i know where i was in the pattern, but a few rows of the back of it will likely look a bit funkay. Good thing i have long hair, right? I feel kind of excited to be working on it again. Winters are long here, i will likely need something time consuming like this. I am just going to keep telling myself that!

Hey! Look at you blogging again!! Now you gotta get the camera out and snap some doggie & knitting projects! :D
So...you buying the BSG DVD?? I think I'm going to buy it today. It was on all morning yesterday on scifi in a marathon of the last several episodes. I actually watched the last 3 all the way through and only got teary a couple of times. ;) The K/L omission is sadly more glaring now that I don't have to pay such close attention to everything else, but it didn't upset me as much since I knew it was coming.
I haven't watched a single episode of BSG since it went off the air. I just couldn't watch I was so mad about how crappy it ended for my 2 favorites. But I think I might be able to watch again now, which is good. It was making me really sad that I couldn't enjoy it. Now if I could just shut the DVD off right as they pull over the moon and see Earth! Someone should cut a new ending and edit in the cheering from when they landed on torched Earth and then voiceover Adama saying Sammy is flying into the sun, cue that pretty scene and...fade to black. :D I can use my imagination on the rest!
Funny...my word verification is billyted. Like bill & ted's excellent adventure?? :P Here's my email, I lost yours when my computer crashed. Email me! jemimabean at gmail dot com
Ya - look at you blogging again - I'm so happy. And somebody besides me telling you to take photos. Thanks A.
As to your cardi - can you read your knitting and figure out where you left off? Enjoy it.

If your hair will cover it, just enjoy the knitting. One of the more accomplished knitters in our guild says it's not a mistake if you can't spot it from 15 feet away... That REALLY helped me.
I am a first time visitor, and love your blog header! It looks a little like Vermont! :)
